LEADERSHIP GERMANTOWN ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Germantown, TN – Leadership Germantown has announced the appointment of Andrew Israel as Program Director.
“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” said Brian Carney, the current Leadership Germantown Board of Directors Chairman. “Andrew will bring leadership and creativity to our program and a deep sense of commitment to our community. His development experience and passion for LG will take us to the next level.”
Andrew has been involved in the Mid-South non-profit and volunteer community for almost two decades and has raised more than one million dollars for local non-profits. His experience includes VP of Advancement at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, Director of Development at Girls Inc. of Memphis, and Executive Director of the Greater Memphis Greenline.
“I’m excited to be joining an organization with such a rich and successful history and I’m looking forward to working with the Board and members of our Alumni to grow the organization’s profile in Germantown Shelby County,” Andrew said.
Andrew is an avid bike rider, traveler and has a large collection of vintage pocket watches. He has been married for 23 years to Dr. Sandy Arnold and they have two teenage daughters.
Leadership Germantown is a 501©(3) non-profit organization that contributes to the Germantown community by fulfilling its stated mission: to develop and engage individuals through a program of orientation and exposure to community issues, and to provide a framework for meeting future leadership opportunities.
